Bryan Bailey is the Managing Partner of DalFort Capital Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm based in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining DalFort Capital Partners, Bryan focused on acquisitions in the industrial, specialty chemical and building products sectors for Capital Southwest Corporation (NASDAQ: CSWC), a publicly-traded private equity firm with approximately $800 million in assets under management prior to the spin-off of CSW Industrials, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSWI). Upon completion of the spin-off, Bryan was responsible for supporting a lower middle market credit investment initiative, including origination, underwriting and execution, while also leading portfolio management efforts for legacy equity positions. Prior to Capital Southwest, Bryan worked as a financial analyst in the telecommunications industry and as a national field coordinator for a 2008 presidential campaign.
Bryan received an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Central Arkansas.

James A. O’Donnell has almost forty years’ experience in private equity and venture capital investing. Most recently, he has served as Managing Member of First Capital Group of Texas, with offices in Dallas and San Antonio. Prior to First Capital Group, he was a Partner in CGW Southeast Partners, based in Atlanta, and O’Donnell & Masur and its affiliate, Sherry Lane Partners, both based in Dallas. Before founding O’Donnell & Masur, Mr. O’Donnell was Chairman, President, and CEO of InterFirst Venture Corporation, the private equity affiliate of InterFirst Corporation, then the largest bank holding company in Texas, and its successor, First Republic Venture Group. He holds a BA in Economics from Rhodes College, where he has served as a Trustee, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Tom Edwards is currently CEO/President of TRE Consulting LLC. Tom’s 30 years of manufacturing and distribution leadership includes executive management experience with Johnson Controls, Trane and Ruskin Co. As President of Ruskin, Tom guided them through quadruple growth via a mix of organic and logical add-on acquisitions.
Tom's industry experience includes extensive JIT/lean utilization, establishing domestic and overseas manufacturing, acquisitional analysis and synergy execution, distribution expansion, customer-focused information technology tools, supplier development, building code and standards initiatives, and optimized overall operational restructuring for maximizing returns. Extensive experience in CEO, COO and Board of Director roles - including Past-President and Chairman of the Air Movement and Control Association. A U.S. patent holder, a frequent guest speaker, and an author of many trade journal articles.
With experience in publicly traded companies, privately-held and private equity ownership, and board of director roles, Tom has achieved excellent results by using a combination of fundamental product market/segment driver analysis, motivational methods, financial discipline, operational acumen, and perceptive reasoning skills.
Tom earned his MBA degree from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in both Materials and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Ken Trent has served as Executive Chairman of United Enertech since DalFort’s investment in December 2016. Mr. Trent was formerly an owner and executive at Professional Power Products, Inc. (PPPi), a vertically-integrated manufacturer of enclosed gas and diesel power generation systems. At PPPi, Mr. Trent directed sales, engineering and manufacturing activities. He joined PPPi in 2001 and played an integral role in increasing revenue from $3 million to approximately $40 million at the time of the company’s sale to Power Solutions International (Nasdaq: PSIX) in 2014. Prior to joining PPPi, Mr. Trent held M&A, corporate finance and corporate development positions with Lehman Brothers in New York, NY and Overture (Yahoo) in Pasadena, CA. Mr. Trent earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Tom Verghese is a CEO / President, Board Member, and Private Equity Executive with over 20 years’ experience in the Chemicals, Materials, and Industrials segments. As a member of three boards, Tom has been instrumental in guiding strategy, raising capital, selecting/mentoring CEOs, and establishing effective corporate governance. Tom’s current board roles include VersaFlex, Inc., a mid-market industrial coatings company, MI Systems, a water technology start-up, and Whitesquare Chemicals, an early-stage inorganic polymer company. Previously, from 2012 to 2015, as President of the $2B Chemical Division for Ascend Performance Materials, a PE portfolio company of SK Capital. Between 2006 and 2011, Tom held senior leadership roles in a number of GE businesses, including Chief Marketing Officer for GE Healthcare’s MRI business, Director of GE Emerging Markets and Director of GE Plastics’ Global Coatings business. Prior to GE, Tom held marketing, business development, and general management roles with ICI, a then top-5 global business and $25B UK-based company, and with Devoe Coatings.
Tom earned his MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He holds a PhD and BA in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University. Tom currently resides in Houston, Texas with his wife and two children.
Morris Wheeler is the founder and managing member of Drummond Road Capital, an investment management company managing venture capital, private equity and other direct portfolio investments. Over the past decade, Mr. Wheeler has managed a diverse venture capital and private equity portfolio, and served as Chairman and CEO of Cohesant, a company providing solutions that extend the life of aging water infrastructure. During his operating tenure, Cohesant's investors enjoyed a 28% annualized return culminating with a sale to Graco Inc. in 2008. Following that sale, Drummond Road retained an interest in Raven Linings Systems, which was sold to VersaFlex, a Dalfort portfolio company, in December 2017. Mr. Wheeler joined Dalfort soon thereafter and serves on the board of VersaFlex.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Wheeler specialized in software and digital media. From there, as CEO and Founder, he led the team that created the first internet music distribution platform with the founders of MTV, Island Records and Gateway Computers. Sputnik7 was acquired by a major media company in early 2000.
Most recently, Mr. Wheeler has focused on making 10 to 12 value-added seed stage investments per year in software companies participating in top national accelerator programs like TechStars, 500 Startups, Y-Combinator, and The Brandery. Drummond Road Capital has been recognized as one of the 100 most active startup investors in the US.
Mr. Wheeler began his career on Wall Street after studying Economics and Computer Science at The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned his JD at Yale Law School.
